Photophobia

Challenges are what make life all the more interesting. Same with art. I like to try out something new from time to time, and decided on a negative drawing.

When you are photophobic, you wish at times to be blind so you no longer have to be in pain due to light. Having no eyes would solve that, leaving gaping holes that no longer hurt. So I made gaping holes, like a vacuum sucking up light. The inverted version shows eyes emitting light, ingniting the question: which version should be taken to remain closest to reality?
